Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Pastelero Review ("we", "us") handles your information when you use our review platforms — Akawntant and Arkitekto — or this website. We build study tools, not advertising products: we collect only what the apps need to work, and we do not sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a password (or a sign-in token from a provider you choose) when you create an account.
- Study data. Your answers to practice questions, mock-exam results, and progress statistics. This is the core of the product — it powers your analytics and review recommendations.
- Payment information. When you subscribe, payment is handled by our billing providers (RevenueCat and Stripe). We receive your subscription status and a transaction reference — we never see or store your card details.
- Technical basics. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and debugging, retained only as long as operationally needed.
How we use it
- To operate your account and sync your study progress across devices.
- To determine which features your subscription unlocks.
- To answer support requests you send us.
- To keep the services secure and diagnose problems.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers to run the apps, each receiving only what their function requires:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- RevenueCat and Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Cookies
The apps use cookies for one purpose: keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and study data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing the support address of the app you use; we will complete the deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls limiting it to what the services need to operate. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the minimum data necessary so there is less to protect.
Children
Our services prepare candidates for professional licensure examinations and are not directed at children under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
