Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the review platforms operated by Pastelero Review ("we", "us") — Akawntant and Arkitekto — and this website. By creating an account or using the services, you agree to them.

The services

Our apps are study tools for Philippine licensure examinations: practice question banks, mock exams, and progress analytics. They are educational products. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or any professional regulatory board, and using our apps does not guarantee a passing result on any examination.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials to yourself. An account is for one person.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe it has been compromised.
• You must be able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the paid services.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed per app and renew automatically until cancelled. Pricing is shown at checkout, and cancellation and refunds are governed by our refund policy. Payments are processed by our billing providers (RevenueCat and Stripe); we never store your card details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share, resell, or publicly redistribute the question bank, explanations, or other app content;
• scrape, bulk-download, or reverse-engineer the services;
• share one account among multiple people or circumvent free-tier limits;
• use the services in a way that breaks the law or disrupts the service for others.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules. Where practical, we will warn you first.

Our content

The questions, explanations, software, and design of the services belong to Pastelero Review or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own exam preparation — nothing more. Your study data remains yours; our use of it is described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers

The services are provided "as is". We work to keep content accurate and aligned with official syllabi, but examinations, laws, and regulations change, and we do not warrant that the content is error-free or that the services will be uninterrupted. The services are study aids, not a substitute for official examination materials or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including examination outcomes.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the services and delete your account at any time. We may discontinue a service or feature with reasonable notice; if you have paid for a period that we cannot deliver, we will refund the unused portion.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update this page, revise the date above, and — for changes that affect paid subscriptions — notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
